Understanding this need, Emart Sala's management collaborated with TMA Innovation to deploy the T-Locker smart locker system. Using modern facial recognition technology, T-Locker ensures absolute security and safety for property and personal belongings, giving customers complete peace of mind and a free and comfortable shopping experience.

 

Using instructions for the T-Locker locker at Emart Sala supermarket

 

Deposit

 

Step 1: Choose "Drop-off" to deposit items.

Step 2: Proceed to scan your face. When the scan frame turns green, the face scanning is done successfully.

Step 3: Open the locker and deposit the item.

 

Put items in the closet and close the locker to complete the depositing process.

The screen will display a notification of the expiration time of the locker.

Check/ deposit more items

 

Step 1: Select "Check/ drop off more" to check the locker or deposit more items.

Step 2: Proceed to scan your face. 

When the scan frame turns green, the face scanning is done successfully.

Step 3: Open the locker to check or send more items

 

After a successful face scan:

  • If the face ID is not in the system, the screen will display a message that the customer has not registered to deposit items in the locker.
  • If the face ID is recorded as previously registered, the locker will open and allow new items to be checked or sent.

Place the item in the locker or check the locker, then close the locker to complete the process.

 

Retrieve

 

Step 1: Choose "Pick up" to get items in the locker.

Step 2: Proceed to scan your face. 

When the scan frame turns green, the face scanning is done successfully.

Step 3: Open the locker and retrieve the item

 

After a successful face scan:

  • The drawer in use will open and allow the customer to retrieve items.
    Please note that all items should be removed from the cabinet.

  • If the item has not been deposited before, the screen will display the message “Unable to collect the item”.

 

Support

 

Select "Support" if you have problems while using the locker.

 

You can contact the phone number shown or scan the QR code to call to receive help from the Management Board.

Note

 

In the process of depositing items, you may encounter some errors, such as: the distance is too far, wearing a mask, or using photos.

 

How to fix:

  • For the error “the distance is too far”: you need to ensure that the distance from the tablet is not more than 70 cm
  • For the error “wearing a mask”: you need to remove the mask
  • For the error “using the photo”: you need to directly scan the face
